Bryony & Callum tie the knot at the London Golf Club
Back in September last year we met the lovely Bryony and her Mum and the Delting Wedding Fair. Sometimes you just click with people and this was one of those occasions. After a follow up consultation with Bryony and Callum a few weeks later, the date was booked and we were looking forward to their big day. It sounded amazing!
The morning of the wedding was a belter with blue skies and a car reading 28 degrees! When we pulled up at Bryony mums house and all I can say is wow! We were treated like family and had a great laugh from the moment we arrived. I don’t think I have ever had a more organised Bride, each room served a purpose and had a sign on the door letting you know what it was being used for so for many of you that know me you will know that I love to be organised and maybe sometimes a little OCD so the door signs did make me chuckle. You would expect chaos with the makeup artist, seven bridesmaids, mum and dad and two photographers all in Bryony mums house but due to the meticulous planning, the morning ran like clockwork.
At mid-day the beautiful vintage cars arrived and it was time to head to the London Golf Club. The day and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, it was beautiful sunshine, broken cloud and the venue looked utterly amazing. The attention to detail was incredible. At this point a little thank you to Gemma the wedding coordinator, who not only looked after us throughout the day, but also kept the day running perfectly. I also had the great pleasure of working alongside Steve and Kim of Simply Wedding Movies- I knew instantly we would work well together and give these guys amazing memories especially after we managed to commandeer three golf buggies to check out some of the deepest darkest comers of the venue for some photo opportunities.
Bryony and her Bridesmaids made their grand entrance in to the ceremony, where we had some beautiful readings. There were tears aplenty during this ceremony that really did reflect how close these two families had become. After the ceremony there were celebration drinks and canapés out on the terrace, which is where we decided to do the group shots. We nailed these in a short space of time due to the heat, but we got some great traditional group shots as well as some Steve Barber specials :)
Throughout the grounds there were endless opportunities for us to do wander off and get Bryony and Cullum some fab romantic shots. Callum was less comfortable in front of the lens than Bryony but we made sure everything we did he was comfortable with, and as you will see from a few of our favorites he did very well!
The next couple of hours flew by and everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal and some really beautiful speeches. The Best Man did great and had everyone roaring with laughter, the Father of the Bride made everyone cry and Callum faced his fears and delivered a heartfelt speech that touched everyone in the room.
Bryony and Callum had requested sunset and night time romantics, so while DJ Jules got the dance floor rocking, we snuck out and had some fun with these guys. We nailed some amazing shots and below is just a little sneaky peak of some of my favorites!
Thanks to Bryony, Callum and families for making us feel so welcome on your magical day!
