The Day of the wedding
The moment I met Georgia and Guiseppe I knew they were going to be a blast! Over the last 12 months I’ve got to know these guys and regards them like good mates than clients. I have been buzzing to capture their wedding day for them and before we knew it they day was upon us.
They had chosen to get married outside in the gardens of the Knowle country house, I’ve shot here loads now and it never gets old. The venue looks great all year round but in May has the most stunning wisteria growing in the courtyard of the bridal suite, which makes a perfect backdrop for some photos. After a quick hello and a coffee it was time to get the cameras out, the bridesmaids were now having their hair and makeup done so I picked my moments to break off to shoot Georgia’s dress and jewelry as well as the grounds of the Knowle. I had the pleasure of working alongside Zara Asadi who really delivered for the girls, she is a very talented makeup artist so if your looking for bridal makeup be sure to check her out online.
The bridal suite was now rocking with some Kiss on the radio and the glasses full of prosecco, as the bridesmaids helped each other into dresses and painted nails it was time for Georgia to get into her dress with mums assistance. After a few adjustments and the vale finishing the look it was time for a group hug and some shots of the girls before dad came in before the ceremony began.
Guests had now started to arrive and fill the garden terrace while Guiseppe and the ushers were running through the formalities with the registra. The weather was perfect for an outside ceremony and produced really nice light for images as the girls made their way down the isle. Guiseppe’s face was a picture as he got to see Georgia for the first time, these guys were great together and after making their wedding vows and exchanging the rings it was time to seal the deal with a kiss!
Confetti and toast drinks lead the way for the group photos and some really nice formal photos in the gardens with the bridal party. We finished off the photos with some creative, laid back shots at the front of the house before the guys headed back to the guests and the wedding breakfast.
The wedding breakfast was now underway and started with speeches so everyone could enjoy dinner and as always the guests got to choose deserts from the dessert trolley, which is always a really nice touch at this venue. To round things off the guys toasted their glasses and finished by cutting the 3 tier cake, then it was time to enjoy weather with a few more drinks now that we have these longer evenings to make the most of.
As the day passed by Damien their DJ had now set up and introduced the Daniele’s to the dance floor for their first dance together, this was followed by one with dad and Georgia’s brother. The guys really did have a perfect day and I thoroughly enjoyed providing the wedding photography.
To finish things off we headed out to the lake and plum orchards to nail some twilight shots, which look awesome and will really finish off the guys wedding album.
Here are a handful of my favorite photos from Mr & Mrs Daniele’s wedding at the Knowle in Higham. Feel free to comment and share and get in touch if you’re looking for a wedding photographer to capture your big day.
