Philippa & Jeffrey met me last year after Philippas brother Daniel had already booked me for his big day. After a sit down over coffee I could tell that these guys were going to have an incredible wedding, to top things off they had also decided to include one of my luxury matt wedding albums in their package. These albums are of the finest quality, making an incredible keepsake for years to come.
Months passed and the now the wedding was upon us. The day started with bridal preparations in London with a Church wedding ceremony to follow, finishing off at the lake view marque in Barkingside for the evening reception.
After arriving at the hotel I made my introductions and started to shoot the day as it unfolded, Philippa’s hair and makeup looked great, to top things off one of the bridesmaids handed Philippa a gift from Jeffrey which included some new shoes for later and a personalized newspaper print which had their wedding day making headline news! such a cool idea. well done that man! :)
The guys had nearly 500 guests at the church and when I arrived it was almost full. The ceremony was about to get underway and Jeffrey couldn’t hold back the smiles as he waited for his bride to make her way down the isle. As ceremonies go this was perfect! There wasn’t any shortage of love in the air and with great readings, blessings and of course a well up for it crowd we had a plenty of noise that nearly took the roof off when they had that all important first kiss :)
We nailed the group shots in the nearby park before taking the short drive over to the lake view marque for the romantics and wedding breakfast.
The venue looked amazing! A huge marque, long crystal chandeliers, mood lighting and the guest’s tables dressed with runners and flower centerpieces. If a pictures says a thousand words the ones on this blog simply sum it up as breathtaking!
We managed to catch the sunset just before it disappeared to pin down some romantic shots on the nearby golf course and finished up with some bridal party shots, I had great fun with these guys and I think this shows through the photography.
After the speeches and wedding breakfast the guys cut the cake and shared that magical 1st dance before heading off for a costume change into some traditional dress. This normally signals the start of the evening party where you can expect plenty of dancing and some banging music.
I had a real blast shooting for you guys and want to thank you all for hospitality, hers a handful of my favorite shots that tell Mr & Mrs Gyane’s story.
